"POWER A HOME" CAMPAIGN

 

The ‘’Power a Home’’ campaign  is an initiative of Empowering the Future Foundation in partnership with Miss Uganda Foundation and MAAD Advertising that aims to empower 10,000 vulnerable families from selected districts by powering their homes with solar energy.

For each donation of UGX 550'000 we will install a Village Power Solar System in the home of a vulnerable family with children. Each system will come with four bright lights and phone charging. It is professionally installed and supported by a 2 year on-site warranty.

 

From the day of installation these homes will have proper light, resulting in more studying time for the children and more time for income generating activities for the parents.

Hazardous open flames and fumes which lead to respiratory diseases and eye sight damages will be of the past.

Security in and around the home will be increased.

Money that was used to by Kerosene and batteries can now be used for investments leading to a higher household income or to pay for the school of the children.
 

THE FAMILY WILL BE EMPOWERED TO HAVE A BRIGHTER FUTURE.
